Course Description

This CME intends to provide an overview on the management of perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis. It explains about the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options along with the ARIA guidelines for the management of allergic rhinitis. It also gives an insight on the management of circadian variations in rhinitis through the use of anti-histamines such as cetirizine along with its safety and tolerance. Lastly, it gives a brief on allergen specific immunotherapy to prevent the progression of rhinitis to asthma and new allergic sensitizations.
